Ilayathalapathy Vijay back on the ride after Blockbuster movie Velayutham. Vijay has starred in several romance and action films, including the commercially successful films Poove Unakkaga, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Kushi, Priyamaanavale, Ghilli, Pokkiri, Kaavalan and Velayudham.

As per the latest buzz, currently Ilayathalapathy Vijay is the second highest paid actor after Rajnikanth. After Velayutham Vijay's salary has been raised up to 20 crores.

Ajith combined with Venkat Prabhu to deliver a hit in Mankatha and his fans must be wondering what's next for Thala. The actor, who is currently shooting for Billa, has joined hands with Siruthai-fame director Shiva for an untitled film to be produced by Vijaya Productions.

The film will be a tribute to the doyen of film production insouth B Nagi Reddy, founder of Vijaya Productions on his birth centenary year.

Ajith and Shiva are said to be planning a commercially viable action-packed entertainer. The film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and camera by Vetri. It is expected that rhe rest of cast and crew will be announced soon.

The buzz is that as of now, it will have a working title 'Production 4' and is produced by B Bharathi Reddy and presented by B Venkatarama Reddy.

The movie is set to go to the floors by mid-2012 .

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's project with director AL Vijay. The latest buzz about their film is that the filmmaker has asked the actor to lend his voice for one of the peppy numbers in the upcoming Tamil movie.

Sources say that AL Vijay has made Vikram to sing in his earlier films like Deiva Thirumagal and Madrasapattinam. Now, he wants to do the same with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who sang before in many films. GV Prakash is scoring the music for the forthcoming Tamil movie,

The music director says that Ilayathalapathy Vijay should sing as he likes using his voice for the song. However, nothing has been finalised yet as AL Vijay and the Gilli star are busy with their own projects like Thaandavam and Thupakki.
