Shankar has announced that, herein after he will not do any remake movies.
His announcement has come at a time when his remake movie Nanban is doing a big biz in theaters.
While speaking to the media men, Shankar said "It was a real challenge, remaking 3 Idiots as Nanban. I took every step not to change the style and core theme of the main movie. This is the first time I have made a remake and learned a lot. Here in after I will not be doing any remakes."
"Being a prodcuer I have made several big budget movies and have burned my pockets. I have not yet decided on the story and the actor to work with. I will be back soon announcing a big project" said Shankar.
