Nayan denies rumors on post-marriage plans

Sensuous siren Nayan is all set to put an end to her career in film industry. In fact, she was in deep tears on the last day of shooting and took off from the locales. It’s all because of Prabhu Deva insisting her to do so and in turn it was reported that the actress is forcing Prabhu Deva to settle down in either Singapore or Mumbai after marriage.

Since Prabhu Deva has more commitments in Bollywood, it looks like they will be settling down in Mumbai for next few years and later fly down to Singapore. Again there were other reports that Nayanthara might get settled down in Singapore looking after the Dance School while Prabhu Deva will be juggling between Mumbai and Singapore.

When appraoched Nayanthara, she doesn’t open on anything saying that nothing we have heard is true.

South Indian actress Asin is doing a favorably middling job over there in Bollywood. Though she has got some good offers, she is not the top priority of the producers and filmmakers over there. Moreover, her cheap publicity tactics seems to have infuriated them. But she is banking all her hopes on the film ‘Bol Bacchan’ that is directed by Rohit Shetty. Unfortunately, Genelia D’ Souza is moved out from the project as she felt that her role is comparatively lesser with accordance to Asin.

But the latest buzzes are that the actress may soon become an item dancer. She had earlier strictly said ‘No’ to glamorous costumes and is now ready with ‘Bikini’ shots and soon she may have to get down for the ‘Item Girl’ image as well.

Anyways Asin, please don’t spoil your image….

Jeeva is doubtlessly one of the most favorite actors of Tamil film industry. He goes by the title of ‘Navarasa Nayagan’ as he delivers a powerful performance in any roles. Jeeva took a break from commercial films and proved him as a prodigious artist with some outstanding performance in ‘Ee’, ‘Ram’ and ‘Katradhu Tamizh’. Now he is back to pavilion with usual commercial entertainer and quite unusual scripts a well.

‘Vandhan Vendran’ could be considered as one of such illustrations in his career. Kannan, an associate of Manirathnam has already fetched good reviews for his previous films ‘Jayam Kondan’ and ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ and now ‘Vandhan Vendran’.

The film features Jeeva in the role of a professional boxer brimmed with his own aspiring dreams to achieve. But accomplishing one’s mission isn’t as easy as tasting a piece of cake. Says Kannan: ‘Imagine the case of bees that travels through many kilometers just for the sake of gathering quantity of one Kg Honey. So the amount of work and hardships faced by men and women would be gradually many times than the small creature.’

Telugu film industry’s most happening actress Tapashree makes her debut in Kollywood with this movie. Although she has already paired with Dhanush in ‘Aadukalam’, this will be her first release.

Kannan has erected some of the best sets that inspired him from his mentor Manirathnam’s films: Mumbai’s Dharavi slum set for the cost of Rs 1.5Crores and a bridge upon the river as it was in ‘Raavanan’.

For the first time, Kannan will join hands with Thamman and the most leading lyric writers Thamarai, Yugabharathy, Na Muthukumar, Kabilan and Gorky. Rests of the technical team are as same in Kannan’s previous films. P.V. Muthaiah is the cinematographer and V.T. Vijayan is editor.

Major portions of the film are being shot in Mumbai followed by Chennai and few village towns in Tamil Nadu.

More or less, the film’s concept is same as Manirathnam’s ‘Guru’.

rowthiram hits the screen on august 12

Rowthiram will be released on August 12, 2011. The expectations are high because Rowthiram stars Jeeva, whose earlier outing Ko was a grand success. Rowthiram is directed by debutant Gokul and produced by Jeeva’s father RB Choudhury of Super Good Films.

The producer had re-shot some important scenes in the film because he wanted Jiiva to hold on to the success that he got in Ko. This has certainly upped the expectation levels for Rowthiram.

The film has Shriya Saran playing Jeeva’s arm candy. The music for Rowthiram has been scored by newbie Prakash Nikki.

The star will sport a new look for Raja Pattai, but he does not want to disclose too much about it at the moment. It must be mentioned here that Vikram will work simultaneously in another movie titled Karikalan, which is way too different from Raja Pattai, because it is a period flick.

simbhu's new tv channel

TR has already launched Kural TV named after his younger son who will be making his entry into films soon. The new TV channel will be out by the end of this year. TR will be using it as a platform to air his views. He will be hosting a few shows and it is expected that STR will put in regular appearances when he can take time off from his hectic schedule.

Today is July 28, and Dhanush celebrates his 28th birthday today. The big birthday news is that he is starting his new untitled film today which will be directed by his wife Aishwarya.

Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya will be wielding the megaphone for the first time and the national award winning star will be directed by his wife. Vikram has once again proved he is a versatile actor in Deiva Thirumagal. The stars histrionics has won him rave reviews and naturally several actresses in Kollywood are vying to share the screen space with him.

Soundarya Rajinikanth done her job as a daughter

Soundarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of the superstar, visited Tirupati on Sunday to pray for the actor's health at Lord Sri Venkateshwara temple. She was accompanied by her husband Ashwin Kumar.

It was reported that Rajinikanth will also visit the famous hill shrine but the actor, who is not fully recovered from his illness, did not turn up with his daughter. Soundarya had special VIP darshan with her hubby and offered prayers to the presiding deity.

It is said that Telugu actor Mohan Babu, who is a close friend of Rajinikanth, made elaborate arrangements for their darshan. After spending a few hours in the temple town, they flew back to Chennai.

However, Soundarya Rajinikanth production Rana, which stars Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the leads, is expected to start its regular shooting from September.
