Yes, the film has been nominated as India’s entry for Asia Pacific Awards at Brisbane, Australia by the Film Federation of India (FFI) and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).
UTV’s Dhananjayan confirmed that Deiva Thirumagal is the first film that has been recognized by the FFI and NFDC and selected for the Asia Pacific Awards at Brisbane. The event will take place in November this year, he adds.
